I’m stretching the “Saturday Snapshots” prompt by posting a video. This is largely because this event is a very close second to meeting Nick on the list of awesome things for Caleb. He cannot help but smile and burst into song (DCamp chant song) at the mention of DCamp. It was an amazing experience and this is one of his proudest moments:

Love it!
I cried cheering for him. I don’t know if it was because I’m terrified of heights and my stomach was rolling the whole time or if it was his strength and determination! (I think it was more the second.) He is AWESOME!!
Very. Cool. 🙂
Love it Caleb!
That is awesome! He’s both strong and brave, I would be terrified.
Love it, Caleb is a very cool kid.
Proof that if you can live with diabetes you can do ANYTHING!
I think the sweetest noise is his family cheering him on in the background!
Wooo! Yay Caleb!!!
After accomplishing that, he must’ve been on such a high — and I’m not talking BG! 🙂
I showed the video to Jack, whose reaction was “I want to do that! Can I do that?!”
Extremely awesome!
So amazing! I was cheering right along with you and tense the whole time!!
Bean was amazed, too. She’s hoping she doesn’t have to do that at her camp because she’s “not a high person.” 😉
Way to go Caleb! What an inspiration!
Also, I have been watching your videos and you posted one of a dance of party. thinking about something. I was wondering how you learned the dance? I would really love to learn it and you guys seem like the people to ask! Is there a DVD or something?
Thanks a bunch!
Thank you Lucy for watching Caleb’s videos. The one you reference is us at Caleb’s sister’s birthday party where we all learned the Hanson brother’s song/dance. You can learn it too – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T9DTolXqj4
It is a TON of fun, but sooooo exhausting. 🙂 Enjoy!
Oh my goodness!!! Your kids ROCK!! I totally couldn’t do that – I was a bundle of nerves just watching the video!!
