5. that’s so sweet! it’s strange how many things diabetic kids know compared to their peers or even adults. how many (nondiabetic) people know Banting and his team discovered insulin?
   I remember reading in a book how diabetic kids sent letters do Banting after they were first treated with insulin. I bet it must have made him cry, to read them 🙂
