What a fabulous response to the first D-Feast Friday!
Thank you for writing about your great meal and snack ideas. It’s not over. Any Friday (or any day you feel so moved – no one’s keeping track) please feel welcome to post your recipes to the list (click the DFeast icon on the right).
Next week I will be posting my goto meal when I have nothing planned and little time to pull things together – Chicken Pottage. It’s easy, healthy and tasty.
This week I’m doing a review. We tried four different D-Feasts. They were all extremely well received and we will continue to make them. If I had to rate them, I’d say “Highly Recommended” for all. Click on each picture to be linked directly to its recipe. Yummorama!

And how could we resist…

What NO KALE CHIPS!!!??? LOL.
Looks like you guys had quite a feast over the past few days Lorraine. The Ninja Burger looks YUMMY…and I am gonna try out the cucumber sandwich today…we have cucumbers coming out our ears over here.
Have a great day!!!
Cucumbers and cream cheese on bread? Huh … that’s a combo I never would have come up with. I may just have to give that one a try! And all the pictures has got me starving even though I recently ate breakfast 😉
Leave it to Caleb to add lots of carbs to a meal.
Wow.
Mine doesn’t look that good.
I like the idea of rice and chips. Kudos for kicking it up.
Oh wow, so many great recipes. I need to try more than my own! I am sooooo happy you all liked the Ninja Burgers. I just think Sandwich thins make way better buns.
Thanks for posting these great pics too!! AWESOME!
Glad the veggie salad was a hit. I love it. I would eat it daily. I feel like I have to go to the farmers market daily! =)
Lorraine,
Major props to you for being so encouraging to everyone particpating in #DFeast!! I really need to try the ninja burgers now that they’ve gotten such a rave review. I actually was looking forward to today’s posts, ever since last Friday.
I’m sure I speak for a lot of people when I say, “Thank you.” ~Jonathan
Thanks Jonathan. And thanks for posting to the DFeast. There’s a new burger recipe posted today that’s also worth giving a try, I think.
Wow! Glad they liked the cucumber bites!! I’ve been out of town for a week with a bunch of high schoolers on a youth trip and I am lovin’ all the links and fun recipes!! Thanks again for doing this!! 🙂
Your kids eat so healthy…..you completely amaze me! Eating healthy is such a struggle for me because I’m such a picky eater. And you know my son picks that up from me.
But you inspire me! Perhaps one day I’ll get brave enough to try one of those recipes. I’m so pitiful….
Wow, now I know where to go when I’m hungry. Your house!! 😉
