I remember reading in a book how diabetic kids sent letters do Banting after they were first treated with insulin. I bet it must have made him cry, to read them
This is so cute! I’ll agree with Caleb and thank Dr. Banting for discovering insulin. Heaven would be pretty full with some terrific people if hadn’t. Thanks Caleb for putting it in writing for us all to enjoy!
Once again, Cabeb has made me smile but also feel a tiny twinge of sadness. But it’s a great great letter! Was he with you at the Insulin Exhibit? I’m thinking it made quite an impression on him.
